Who is this man? Myth? Legend? Eccentric Fog from another dimension?
I am steve
I am an unstoppable mage ninja as well as an author and a poet.
As a writer I am looking for a crack in the world, a tremor in the diaphanous skin of the earth. I date lexicons, translate magic, and wait for words to shine.
I am also friends with dryads, moonlight, and half-formed ideas. I try to write in the shade of lagoon turquoise, screaming orange, and eye-watering azure. The sylph and undines often recite their words to me, but I keep missing their meaning.
I speak several languages: human, fae, troll, mermaid, cloud, and tree. I think this is a bit of an asset because the book I am now writing is a YA fantasy and I can go right to the original languages.
When I am not busy writing I am designing websites, ignoring phone-calls, practising being an introvert, writing CSS code that may conquer the world, pulling off my magical boot (only one), and drinking way too much coffee.
I KNOW NOTHING IN THE WORLD THAT HAS AS MUCH POWER AS A WORD. SOMETIMES I WRITE ONE, AND I LOOK AT IT, UNTIL IT BEGINS TO SHINE
